Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray while addressing a rally on Monday (16 September) asserted that all Shiv Sainiks have been asked to prepare for laying the first brick of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, ANI reported.
While possibly referring to the Narendra Modi led NDA government’s decision to abrogate article 370 and fully integrate Jammu and Kashmir with India, Thackeray said that their hopes have increased after seeing the government’s actions.
He also appealed to the Modi government to expedite the Ram Temple by saying that it is not right to keep the people waiting.
The Ram Janmabhoomi matter is currently in the Supreme Court (SC) and soon the whole nation may be privy to all the proceedings as the apex court will hear a petition seeking live streaming of the case. The SC is currently hearing the matter on a day to day basis.
