Star Introduces Six New Bouquet Packs, May Launch Star Sports 1 Bangla On Or Before 31 March

Star India has introduced six new packs, according to the latest pricing regime, and has also announced that it would be launching Star Sports 1 Bangla on or before 31 March, the Television Post reports.
The six new packs are Bengali Hindi Premium, Bengali Hindi Premium HD, English Premium and English Premium HD, English Mini and English Mini HD.
The six new packs include Bengali Hindi Premium, Bengali Hindi Premium HD, English Mini, English Mini HD, English Premium, and English Premium HD. The Bengali Hindi Premium and Premium HD are placed at Rs 85 and Rs 130 respectively and include Bengali, English and Hindi entertainment and movie channels along with sports and infotainment channels.
Finally, the English Mini Pack and Mini HD Pack are placed at Rs 20 and Rs 35 respectively and would provide channels like Star Movies SD/HD, Star World SD/HD and Fox Life SD/HD.
Further, the broadcaster also said that Star Sports Bangla would launch either on or before 31 March and is priced at Rs 19, making it their third regional channel after starting Star Sports 1 Kannada and Star Sports 1 Telugu.
The channel would be an addition to its long list of 36 SD and 27 HD channels, which includes 11 SD and five HD sports channels. The launch of the six new packs means that the broadcaster would have 78 bouquet packs across seven languages - English, Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu.
