Ria Gupta, a 16-Year-Old girl from Delhi has helped more than 100 students in getting admission in various schools in Delhi. Staria, a startup she founded has referred more than 100 students and aims at reaching 1,000 students every month in 2020 admission process.

The startup provides free counselling for parents seeking admission for their children while charging the school for each admission. The company which started its operations in January has a network of more than 50 schools and claims to be the largest school network in the Delhi-NCR region, reports NDTV.

It provides free services to the parents seeking admission for their children, but charges the school for facilitating the admission.

Ria Gupta, who herself hails from Sanskriti School, one of Delhi’s top schools, wants to make it easier for parents while getting their kids admitted into schools and has built a model that is highly dependant on technology and aims to optimise the existing education infrastructure. The platform promising "guaranteed admission" recognises the struggle parents go through during admission season.

Speaking about her startup, Ria said: “Rarely do children get admission in the school of their choice and even if they do, there are numerous complications and uncertainties involved in the process.” She added, “I saw my family members frantically looking for a suitable school to send my brother to but it was extremely difficult.”
