The Supreme Court has started live streaming of Constitution Bench proceedings from today. The decision has been taken to further the motive of transparency in the court's working. All the Constitution bench proceedings will be compulsorily live streamed from now.
While at present the cases are being live streamed through YouTube, in the future the Supreme Court will have its own portal for live streaming.
Additionally, as per normal procedure the live streaming will be deferred for 30 seconds.
Another bench, presided by Justice Chandrachud will be hearing the Shiv Sena case, and the live stream can be accessed from here.
Lastly, a bench presided by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul will hear the matter relating to the validity of All India Bar Examination, the same can be accessed here.
Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
