DTH operator Tata Sky has made another change to its multi-TV policy to allow subscribers to select different channels on different set-top boxes (STB), the Telecom Talk reports.

Tata Sky subscribers were following a mirror model, in which the secondary connection would receive the same channels as the primary connection.

However, with the latest change in policy, users can avail different packages for their secondary Tata Sky connection and will also be able to pay for the selected channels on a different price tag.

The new Multi-TV pricing system would be effective from 15 June, and subscribers would see a change in the slab rates for the secondary connections.

Currently, subscribers pay for the secondary connections per their primary connection and from 15 June, subscribers will need to pay NCF and content charges for the STBs with different channel selections.

However, for subscribers choosing the same channels and packs as the primary STB, they would need to pay according to the primary STB.
