Telangana SSC Examinations Begin Today; English Paper-II Postponed Due To Clash With MLC Elections

The SSC Public Examinations in Telangana began today and went relatively peacefully with only one Hyderabad student booked for malpractice, reports The Hindu.

A district education officer and an invigilator have also been booked for malpractice by the flying squads which inspected 998 centres.

An official release from Board of Intermediate Education revealed that 659 malpractice cases were registered till 13 March and 12 spot camps were set up for evaluation of question papers.

Previously, on 14 March, the government announced grace of five minutes for students appearing for SSC public examinations. English paper-II scheduled to be held on 22 March postponed to 3 April due to clash with the MLC elections.

The exams, which are starting on 16 March would conclude on 13 April.
