Mumbai Police has issued an advisory indicating the possibility of an aerial attack by means of gliders, drones or other such aerial instruments, reported ANI. In light of the possibility, a ban has been imposed on the use of flying objects in the city from 31 March to 29 April.

Last year, Mumbai was declared a no-flying zone for paragliders, drones and micro-light aircraft in October in the wake of the Uri attacks and the resulting surgical strikes and especially because it was the festive season. The ban on flying objects then had lasted all of October.
