Two Hindu Girls Kidnapped And Forcibly Converted To Islam In Pakistan, Later Married Off To Muslim Men

Within two days, two Hindu girls named Ekta Kumari and Dhani Kohlahi were kidnapped and forcibly converted to Islam in Pakistan, reports Zee News.
Hindu girl, identified as Ekta Kumari, was forcibly converted to Islam by Muslim cleric Mian Abdul Khaliq, who is believed to be close associate of Pakistan Army.
Ekta Kumari is a resident of Sibi, a town in Balochistan, and she is a teacher by profession.
One Yar Mohammad Bhtto kidnapped Ekta and forced her to travel to Dargah-e-Aliya Bharchundi Sharif in Dharaki in Ghotki district of Sindh province of Pakistan. There she was forcibly converted to Islam and changed the name to 'Ayesha' before marrying her off to the kidnapper.
Cases of attacks on Hindu temples and kidnapping Hindu girls in Pakistan are routine.
Entire Pakistan has only 30 functional temples today, out of the 1,300 pre-Partition era temples.
In December 2020, a top US diplomat for religious freedom Samuel Brownback said that Pakistan is marketing Hindu and Christian women as "concubines" and "forced brides" to China.
“One of the sources of forced brides for Chinese men are religious minorities, Christian and Hindu women, being marketed as concubines and as forced as brides into China", he said.
