In an ongoing operation in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, which broke out today (Friday, 29 March) morning, security forces have neutralised two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists, reports Hindustan Times. Four soldiers are also believed to have been wounded during the encounter.

In light of the operation, Internet services have been snapped in Srinagar and Budgam districts.

As per a police official, two rifles have also been recovered from the site.

Today’s encounter follows the elimination of four jihadist terrorists in two separate encounters in the Kashmir Valley yesterday (Thursday, 28 March). A group of three JeM terrorists was killed in a gun battle with security forces in South Kashmir’s Shopian, while a Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist was gunned down in Kupwara.
