Two Pakistan Rangers were killed as the Border Security Force (BSF) retaliated to firing from the Pakistani side along the International Border in Arnia sector in Jammu district in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Republic TV has reported.
According to the Indian Express, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was seriously injured in sniper firing by Pakistan Rangers in Arnia sector on Friday. The jawan was reportedly discharging his duties at an observation post.
"At about 1145 hours, BSF constable K K Appa Rao received bullet injury in sniper firing by Pakistan Rangers", the daily quoted a BSF officer as saying. "He was evacuated to Jammu for medical treatment. His condition is stable", he added.
