Uber on Tuesday announced the launch of its new android application - UberFLEET - for its fleet partners in the country. The company said the app is designed to improve the overall productivity for fleet owners by making the process of managing drivers more efficient and reducing their downtime.
"UberFLEET allows fleet partners with driver positioning, helping drivers achieve maximum performance and overall, run their fleets more efficiently," Uber India’s Head of Engineering Apurva Dalal said.
The new UberFLEET app comes with the features which help the fleet partners track the driver's location, trip drop off point and location where they last went offline from.
"Uber is at forefront of micro-entrepreneurship opportunity creation in India and UberFleet app is yet another step towards encouraging and supporting the entrepreneurial ambitions of our fleet partners," Dalal added.

Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
