In what appears to be precautionary measure taken by Pakistan in the aftermath of the Pulwama attack, terror camps belonging to Islamist terror groups in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) have been moved away from the Line of Control (LoC), as per tweets by noted defence analyst Nitin A Gokhale. Furthermore, the country’s military has begun the forward deployment of regular units close to the de facto border.

The areas where such relocation of terror camps has taken place are Kel and Taobat in the Upper Neelum Valley, and also Athmuqam and Rauta in the Lower Neelum Valley. These are areas are adjacent to the location of India’s 25th Infantry Division.

These steps indicate that the Pakistani establishment is seriously considering the possibility of Indian retaliatory measures post the Pulwama terror attack.
