In a mega event scheduled for Sunday (28 July) in Uttar Pradesh (UP)'s capital Lucknow, the ground breaking ceremony will be held for 215 projects worth Rs 60,000 crore, for which the MoUs were signed during the UP Investors' Summit held last year, reports Business Standard.
It should be noted that this is the second set of projects from the Investors' Summit held last year by the state government, for which a ground breaking ceremony is being held. In the first instance, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi had broken the ground for projects worth Rs 1 lakh crore.
This second trance of ground breaking ceremony at such a large scale in UP will be attended by Union Minister for Home Affairs (MHA), Amit Shah, who will be the chief guest inaugurating the ceremony.
The massive event is expected to be attended by Flipkart Group’s CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy, and other leading tycoons of the business world including, Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Mukesh Ambani.
Companies which will be witnessing the ground being broken for their projects at the ceremony include Tata Power, Vivo, Haier, Samsung, Lava, Medanta, Pepsico, Adani Gas, ITC, JK Cement, Aditya Birla Group, Bharat Gas/Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Unilever, and Metro Cash & Carry.
