The ninth edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit on 18 January, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of five heads of states, reports The Hindu.
The Prime Minister will also participate in a conference with financial experts and sovereign funds CEOs and discuss avenues of investments in the country.
The head of state of Denmark, Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Rwanda and Republic of Malta will be attending the summit, and PM Modi will reportedly hold one-on-one meetings with the leaders on the sidelines of the event.
The Rwandan president, Paul Kagame, Uzbekistan president Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Denmark Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Czech Republic Andrej Babis, and Prime Minister of Malta, Joseph Muscat, have reportedly confirmed their participation in the global summit.
The Gujarat Government is also holding “Africa Day” with the presence of over one hundred diplomats and public figures from African nations, as part of the Vibrant Gujarat Investment Summit.
