Video: Indian Army Explains How It Thwarted Pakistan Army’s Bid To Send ‘War-Like’ Cache Of Weapons Across The LoC

On Friday (9 October), terrorists sponsored by the Pakistan Army tried to smuggle a war-like cache of weapons into Keran Sector of northern Kashmir from across the Line of Actual Control (LoC), the Indian Army has said.
Pakistan Army’s attempt to supply weapons to terrorists it has trained and infiltrated into the Kashmir Valley was thwarted by the alert troops of the Indian Army deployed along the LoC in the Keran Sector.
In a video posted on Twitter by the Chinar Corps (XV Corps), the India Army explained how it conducted the operation to thwart Pakistan’s attempt.
The movement of terrorists along the LoC was first detected by the surveillance detachment on the banks of Kishen Ganga River at 8:30 pm.
At 10 pm the same night, the team again detected some movement near the bank of the river. It found at two to three terrorists supported by Pakistan Army troops were trying to transport weapons in a tube tied to a rope.
In a joint operation launched with the J&K Police, at least two bags with four AK-74 Rifles, 8 magazines, 240 AK rifle ammunition were recovered.
This is not the first time that Pakistan has tried to supply weapons to terrorists it has trained and infiltrated into the Kashmir Valley.
