Watch: Badminton Legend Pullela Gopichand Praises Government’s Execution Of J&K Bifurcation

Former Badminton player and Chief National Coach Pullela Gopichand praised the Central government’s efforts to smoothly carry out the bifurcation of J&K into two union territories following the abrogation of Article 370.
A video of Gopichand’s speech was shared by PIB:
In the video, Gopichand recounted the confusion prevalent during the bifurcation of Andhra and Telangana leading to uncertainty among common people including his own family members.
“For the minuscule population who think that things were not as per procedure in this bifurcation (J&K), they need to go back and see what happened when Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated”, said Gopichand.
