Indian Air Force’s 86th anniversary is coming up on 8 October. In preparation for the event, the IAF’s Garud Commando Force conducted an exercise at Jaladhar’s Adampur airbase.

The Garud Commando Force was constituted in 2004 as an elite unit and currently holds about 1080 personnel. The air show will be performed in Hindan Air Force Station on 8 October.
“A scintillating air display by various aircraft will be the hallmark of the Air Force Day Parade cum Investiture Ceremony at Air Force Station Hindan (Ghaziabad). Rehearsals for the air display will commence from 1 October”, a press release by the Ministry of Defence has read.
