Watch: Indian Railways Gears Up For Kumbh 2019, Prayagraj Express Coach Gets A Makeover

Indian Railways aims to brighten up the journeys to be undertaken by pilgrims visiting Triveni Sangam, Allahabad for Kumbh 2019. The North Central Railway is refurbishing the coaches of trains connecting Allahabad to other parts of the nation with decor on the theme of Kumbh Mela an example being the first one-of-a-kind AC-1 Coach of the Prayagraj Express.
The Kumbh themed coach will be attached to the Prayagraj Express, train number 12417/18 with the aim of providing a fantastic experience to devotees and passengers.
The coach will carry the ‘Kumbh 2019’ logo on one side of the coach with breathtaking images of the temples and the tent-city for devotees in the Mela area. The Vestibule area has been wrapped portraying the serene view of the night in the Kumbh area. A magnificent range of interior decor complimented by an auto odour dispenser system installed in the coach makes it an enjoyable journey
Rajiv Chaudhry, General Manager, North Central Railway inspected the coach last week and said, "We should have exemplary dedication, alertness and courtesy while serving the passengers at all times & especially during Kumbh Mela. This coach will be helpful in providing comfortable and hygienic experience to devotees during Kumbh 2019”, as reported by Zee.
Kumbh Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage and the world's largest religious gathering. The Kumbh Mela 2019 is going to be held at Allahabad (Prayag) from 14 January, 2019 to 4 March, 2019.
