Villagers residing in North Kashmir have welcomed the Narendra Modi led central government’s decision to abolish Article 370 and informed that no incidents of violence have been reported from the region, reports Aditya Raj Kaul.
The villagers say that the removal of Article 370 would reduce corruption in their state and informed that situation in their villages is normal and no violent incidents like stone pelting have been reported.
They also praised the Indian Army for treating them with compassion and asserted that they have no complaints against it. They also mentioned that the armed forces always come to their aid in times of trouble, which included provided medical aid to the children and elderly.
The villagers also expressed hope that the new era would bring with it development and an end to criminal rule and corruption.
