Watch: Kashmiri Muslim Local Thanks Chinar Corps Commander, Says Border Operations Help Protect Their Families
A Kashmiri local speaks with Army officers.
In a video that has gained immense traction on social media, a Muslim man in Kashmir can be seen expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Commander of the Indian Army’s 15 Corps, also known as Chinar Corps, Lt Gen Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon, surrounded by a group of local civilians and other military personnel.

After mentioning how the local population is benefited by the army’s presence in providing them a livelihood, the man goes on to say that his prayers were with the army men so that they always remained safe. Dhillon responds that he also prays for the safety and security of the man, the locals and their families.
The man goes on to respond, “Whatever action you take on the border, that itself ensures our security.”
