A woman from Chandigarh has torn apart the Bhagwad Gita, as a sign of protest against the new blasphemy laws in the state of Punjab. Addressing the Chief Minister, Capt. Amarinder Singh, she questions if tearing up of a holy scripture can really symbolise disrespecting a religion or faith one follows.
