Watch: Yogi Govt Demolishes Illegal Property Of Don Mukhtar Ansari, To Recover Demolition Expense From Him

Continuing its crackdown on mafia-don turned politician Mukhtar Ansari's ecosystem, the Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has demolished an illegal house owned by Ansari in Lucknow.
In the video one can see a JCB machine chipping away on the support of columns of the property, to ultimately bring the house down.
As per an ANI report, the property was demolished by the Lucknow administration in the city's Dalibagh Colony. The expenses which were incurred in the demolition will be recovered from Ansari and an FIR will also be filed in the matter.
"Gangster Mukhtar Ansari's illegally owned property demolished near Dalibagh Colony. Expenses of demolition will be recovered from him. FIR will be registered. Responsibility of officials under whom this illegal construction took place will be fixed," the administration said in a statement.
Property worth 39.80 crore has been freed from illegal possession of his relatives and 33 weapons have been deposited in different jails after their license has been suspended.
Illegal property belonging to his relatives and associates is being identified and marked and 17 mafias have been identified and marked. These include three alcohol mafias, three cow smuggling and criminal mafias.
