US President Donald Trump is scheduled to arrive in India on 24 February for a two-day visit
Following a rapturous introduction by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President took to stage to address a packed crowd of 1.10 lakh people at the world’s largest stadium in Moreta.
During his speech Trumped expressed his gratitude for the remarkable hospitality accorded to them and added that India will always hold a special place in his heart.
Trump also praised Prime Minister Modi and his humble roots as a tea seller while at the same time pointing out his reputation as a tough leader.
“PM Modi you are not just the pride of Gujarat, you are living proof that with hard work & devotion, Indians can accomplish anything at all, anything they want. The Prime Minister is a moving story of an incredible rise”, Trump was quoted as saying.
Trump while addressing the crowd praised Swami Vivekananda and festivals like Diwali and Holi. He also mentioned India’s icons like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli and referred to Bollywood and movies like Sholay and DDLJ.
