The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written to the International Cricket Council (ICC), calling for action against India for wearing military camouflage caps during the third ODI against Australia, reports India Today.
"We have made our point very strongly to the ICC," PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani was quoted as saying by India Today.
Indian cricketers had worn camouflage caps during the third ODI against Australia in Ranchi on 8 March.
"It is the second time that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is trying to use cricket for political purposes. This is not acceptable," Mani said.
In the wake of Pulwama attacks that killed almost 40 CRPF jawans undertaken by Pakistan-based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed, the BCCI had asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) to "sever ties with countries from which terrorism emanates".
Mani said that ICC had earlier taken disciplinary action against Imran Tahir and Moeen Ali when they tried to make a political statement on the field.
"We want the ICC to take similar action against the Indians," said Mani.
