Commuters of Delhi Metro faced problems on the blue line section on Thursday (7 December), Economic Times has reported. The entire stretch of the metro was affected due to signalling issues. The blue line of Delhi Metro connects Dwarka to Noida and Vaishali.
Signalling issue was experienced on the Yamuna Bank to Vaishali section of the metro. A Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) official said that temporary arrangement were made to facilitate the commute of passengers till it was solved.
"The metro was standing at Nirman Vihar for around 30 mins today morning and the Noida metro was also moving very slow," a commuter tweeted.
"I used to reach my destination BVP college from Vaishali metro in 60 minutes. Today I was struck in between many times and even didn't reach half my destination in 60 minutes," another commuter complained.
The first technical snag occurred around 3 pm. Though it was solved around 4.23 pm the problem repeated at 7 pm at another section.
