XLRI Lays Foundation Stone For New Campus In Andhra Pradesh; To Accommodate 5,000 Students Across UG And PG Programmes

The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) will soon have a new campus in Andhra Pradesh as the foundation stone for a new campus was laid in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and XLRI Director E Abraham, India Today reports.

The Jamshedpur-based private management school is one of the leading business schools in India. XLRI Amaravati will be set up in Inacolu village in Thullur Mandal in Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh.

CM Naidu said, “I am happy to learn that XLRI has completed 70 glorious years of educating global business leaders and for 70 years, the institution has diligently focused on training future business leaders who help shape the destiny of India with integrity, competence and commitment."

Once the campus is ready, it will accommodate 5,000 students across undergraduate and postgraduate courses in management education. Director of XLRI, Abraham, said the institute believes in emphasising on value-based management studies.

“We will be grooming business leaders who will serve as catalysts of change and become responsible leaders of tomorrow that will carve the destiny of a new India," the director of the 1949-established B-school told PTI.
