Bahujan Samajwadi Party leader Mayawati has said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should resign if he can't ensure safety to women. She has said that the Adityanath government has failed.
She made allegations, saying that Adityanath was appointed chief minister under pressure from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). She said that the BJP should come out of the clutches of RSS.
"Adityanath Yogi.. wo is layak nahin hain ki law and order ko sambhal sakein," she added, urging the Centre to look into the matter.
Mayawati has been actively opposing the Yogi Adityanath government and the work of the chief minister.
