With a sudden rise in crimes in Uttar Pradesh (UP), the Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath is all set to launch a massive feedback tour across the state from 16 June and also carry out surprise checks, reports Economic Times.
Under the tour, Yogi Adityanath is likely to visit all important districts where he will be holding chaupal meetings with villagers and making spot inspections of police stations, hospitals, tehsils and primary schools.
Adityanath will also be reviewing the progress of the work being done in remote towns of the state. Top sources have also reported that Yogi Adityanath could also be making surprise visits to police stations and tehsils without intimating the district administration or senior officials.
The Commissioners and Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGs) will also be accompanying Yogi Adityanath in the commissionerate reviews.
It should be noted that Yogi Adityanath had held a brainstorming session with Director General of Police, Home Secretary and other key officials relating to the spurt of heinous crimes targeting children. During the session he is also said to have taken stock of the progress made on the sensational murder of a two and a half years old girl in Aligarh.
