The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has achieved a new milestone in its fight against Covid -9. It is set to announce the conducting of one crore sample tests for detecting Coronavirus since March.
The Yogi Adityanath government is now making efforts to improve facilities for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. For this, it is set to launch level-2 facility hospitals in six districts: Bareilly, Bhadohi, Sant Kabir Nagar, Amethi, Mirzapur and Shamli.
Yogi Adityanath told the media: "We have conducted 1.5 lakh tests per day for the past 45 days...".
He added, "We are conducting 50,000-55,000 RT PCR tests, 3,000 TrueNat tests and remaining are being performed by antigen tests."
He said that six months back, the state did not have facilities to tackle coronavirus. "We had to recommend patients to Delhi for better treatment. But now, we have built level 1 and level 2 facilities in various hospitals," he added.
