Days ahead of the Assembly elections in Delhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing the public in a gathering said, "I guarantee now that we will turn Delhi into a world-class city if we come into power. If that does not happen, you can come and pull my ears," reports Indian Express.
Shah was speaking in Delhi's Babarpur assembly constituency to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s candidate Naresh Gaur who would be going into the electoral contest against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)'s senior leader Gopal Rai.
Meanwhile, it should also be noted that Shah, during his address took note of the protests against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) being held in city's Shaheen Bagh area and said asserted on the people that a BJP Government in Delhi would ensure no such incidents happen again.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
