Fans Left Angry And Disappointed Due To Poor Crowd Management At AR Rahman Concert In Chennai; Slam Event Organisers, Demand His Apology

Fans of AR Rahman were upset and angry at the organisers of his concert, 'Marakkuma Nenjam', that was held yesterday (10 September) at Adityaram palace in the outskirts of Chennai.

They said that there was poor crowd management by ACTC Events (the event organiser), and many people with valid tickets were not able to enter the venue as it was extremely crowded due to overbooking.

They also alleged that women were molested and children got separated from parents due to the crowd.

Some of the fans said that Rahman should have apologised.

While Rahman has not apologised, he reposted posts by some fans who did not have a bad experience and a post by the organisers, ACTC events, which said, "Grateful to Chennai and the legendary @arrahman Sir! The incredible response, the overwhelming crowd made our show a massive success. Those who couldn't attend on overcrowding, Our sincere apologies. We take full responsibility and accountable. We are with you. #MarakkumaNenjam"
