RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav launching Party's Manifesto
Former Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav has unveiled the Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Saturday (13 April).
The manifesto, presented by Lalu Yadav's political heir is branded as ‘Parivartan Patra’.
"Today, we have released our 'Parivartan Patra'. We are bringing 24 promises in 2024, which is our commitment that we will fulfil. It has a lot of important issues regarding the development of Bihar," Tejashwi Yadav said as he released party's manifesto.
Among the pledges outlined in the manifesto, Tejashwi Yadav highlighted the commitment to construct five new airports in Bihar to enhance connectivity.
These airports are proposed to be established in Purnea, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj, and Raxaul, aiming to facilitate easier access and travel within the state.
Furthermore, the manifesto includes initiatives such as providing cooking gas cylinders at a subsidized rate of Rs 500 and offering financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh annually to women from economically disadvantaged households.
The RJD leader also promised one crore jobs to youths across the country.
"If our INDI alliance is voted to power, we will give government jobs to one crore youth across the country," he added.
