Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust revealed on Monday (17 March) that 96 per cent of the Ayodhya Mandir construction has been completed, and the entire structure is expected to be finished by June.

After a meeting under the chairmanship of Pujya Nritya Gopal Dasji Maharaj, it was posted on the social media platform X that a total of Rs 396 crore have been spent in five years of the trust's formation.

The amount is a total of various payments made to government agencies under different categories including GST, TDS, royalties, architectural plans, land purchase stamp duty, electricity bills, and other related expenses.

"The discussions focused on the Mandir’s future plans, with detailed updates on the construction progress and the estimated timeline for the remaining work," the X post said.

Giving details on different parts of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, it was said that 40 per cent of the work on the Sheshavatar Mandir has been completed, while the Sant Tulsidas Mandir has been fully constructed, and the vigrah has been installed.

Sant Tulsidas Mandir is set to be inaugurated on Ram Navmi (6 April). After this, devotees will be able to have darshan there. The installation of deities in the remaining Mandirs is planned for Akshaya Tritiya (30 April).

"The meeting also approved the initiation of a daily Annakshetra/Bhandara (community kitchen) within the Mandir complex. Many devotees have expressed their willingness to contribute to Phool Bangla, provide vastra for the Prabhu, offer bhog-prasad, and participate in aarti. A detailed plan regarding these offerings will be prepared and made public soon," the post concluded.
