AAP Takes I-PAC's Help For Delhi Assembly Election, Plans To Target BJP Over 'Deteriorating' Law And Order: Report

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is seeking the help of the political consultancy group I-PAC again for the 2025 assembly election as per media reports. The organisation was founded by former electoral strategist Prashant Kishor.

Notably, I-PAC helped AAP in the 2020 election as well when the Arvind Kejriwal-led party won 62 of 70 seats, despite facing an anti-incumbency of five years.

AAP now hopes to again beat anti-incumbency with I-PAC's help. A skeletal team of the consultancy group has already landed in Delhi and is looking at the AAP’s campaign, both on the field and digital, as per a source cited by The Indian Express.

The report mentions that I-PAC has officially confirmed the partnership with the AAP to boost the party’s campaign strategies for the 2025 Delhi assembly election and outreach efforts in its bid for reelection.

I-PAC has also taken note of AAP's struggles with the Lieutenant Governor and the lingering power tussle. The focus will be on highlighting the 'deteriorating' law and order to target the BJP, as per the report.

"We have helped shape a new campaign that will make the people aware of the Centre’s failures while also showcasing the development works that the AAP government has undertaken," the source added.

An I-PAC insider is hopeful of performing better after facing failures for the Trinamool Congress in Goa and YSR Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh as they believe to have a "fair idea about Delhi."

"We have worked here in the past. This time, we hope for better results like the Lok Sabha and Assembly bypoll results in West Bengal," the insider was quoted as saying by Indian Express.
