Aero India
The fifteenth edition of Asia’s largest aerospace exhibition, Aero India 2025, is set to take place from 10 to 14 February at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka in Karnataka's Bengaluru.
The event, themed “The Runway to a Billion Opportunities,” aims to foster global and domestic partnerships in the aerospace and defence sectors while accelerating the indigenisation process.
The first three days of the event (10-12 February) are designated as business days, providing a platform for industry engagement.
The last two days (13-14 February) will be open to the public, featuring air displays and static exhibitions of military and aerospace platforms.
Aero India 2025 will host a diverse range of activities, including:
Curtain Raiser and Inaugural Event: Marking the grand opening of the show.
Defence Ministers’ Conclave: Focusing on the theme ‘BRIDGE – Building Resilience through International Defence and Global Engagement’ to encourage strategic dialogue with friendly nations.
CEOs’ Round-Table: A platform for global aerospace leaders to explore manufacturing opportunities in India.
India Pavilion: Highlighting India’s indigenisation and Make-in-India efforts with cutting-edge defence technologies.
A number of bilateral meetings are planned at the levels of Defence Minister, MoS Defence, Chief of Defence Staff and Secretary among others on the sidelines of the Defence Ministers' Conclave.
The focus will be on bolstering the defence and aerospace ties with friendly countries by exploring newer avenues to take the partnership to the next level.
In addition, dynamic aerobatic displays and live technology demonstrations will provide an immersive experience, showcasing the potential of modern aerospace platforms and technologies.
A number of seminars on various important themes are also planned as part of the event.
Since its inception in 1996, Aero India has been held 14 times in Bengaluru.
The previous edition in 2023 saw participation from over seven lakh visitors, dignitaries from 98 countries, and 809 exhibitors, resulting in 250 partnerships, including 201 MoUs, product launches, and technology transfers valued at over Rs 75,000 crore.
