Rituals being performed at Ram Mandir ahead of inaguaration.
The week-long religious rituals for the 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir entered the fourth day, with the lighting of the holy fire at 9 am, followed by the establishment of 'Navagraha' and a 'Havan'.
Earlier, the murti of Shri Ram Lalla was installed in the sanctum sanctoram of the Ram Mandir.
Covered with a veil, the idol transitioned through rituals like 'Jaladhivas,' 'Ganesh Pujan,' and 'Varun Pujan,' capturing the essence of the sacred ceremonies.
According to the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, "On Friday, 19 January, fire will appear from Aranimanthan. Before that, there will be worship of established deities like Ganapati, recitation of Vedas of all the branches by the gatekeepers, Dev Prabodhan, Aushadhivas, Kesaradhivas, Ghritadhivas, Kundpujan and Panchbhu Sanskar".
"Establishment of the fire manifested by Arnimanthan in the kund, Grahasthapan, Innumerable Rudrapeethasthapan, Pradhadevatashapana, Rajaram - Bhadra - Shriramyantra - Beethdevta - Angadevta - Vapardevata - Mahapooja, Varunmandal, Yoginimandalsthapan, Kshetrapalmandalsthapan, Grahahom, Sthapyadevhom, Prasad Vastus Shanti, Dhanyadhivas, and evening worship and aarti will be done," the Trust added.
Following this, the murti will be kept in saffron and later in grains.
As per the schedule, on 20 January, the temple's sanctum sanctorum will be purified with Saryu water, and Vaastu Shanti and 'Annadhivas' rituals will be performed.
The ongoing week-long rituals, initiated on Tuesday (16 January), will culminate in the grand event on 22 January.
Subsequently, the temple will open its doors for public 'darshan' from 23 January.
