Bihar By-Polls Results: NDA and Allies Dominate Key Seats

The ongoing counting for Bihar bypolls for the four Assembly constituencies of Tarari, Ramgarh, Belaganj, and Imamganj have revealed decisive trends.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and its allies taking a decisive lead in most seats.

In Tarari, the BJP is on the verge of victory, with its candidate Visha Prashant maintaining a commanding lead of 10,612 votes after the 10th round, with only two and a half rounds left.

In Ramgarh, a three-way contest has emerged. After 11 rounds of counting, BJP’s Ashok Kumar Singh is ahead with 61,190 votes, followed by BSP’s Satish Yadav with 60,133  votes. The RJD’s Ajit Kumar Singh, who once appeared strong, has now fallen to third with 35,598 votes.


The Belaganj constituency has seen JD(U)’s Manorama Devi gaining a decisive advantage. By the 11th round of counting (total 15), she had secured 72,178 votes, establishing a comfortable lead of over 20,968 votes against RJD’s Viswanath Kumar Singh, who has 51,210 votes. Mohammad Amjad from Jan Suraaj trails far behind with 15,627 votes.

Meanwhile, Imamganj remains tightly contested between Hindustani Awam Morcha(HAM) and Rashtriya Janata Dal.

HAM’s Deepa Manjhi has a slight edge, leading with 53,141 votes after the 14th round, while RJD’s Roshan Manjhi is close behind with 47,352 votes. Jitendra Paswan from Jan Suraaj remains in third place, garnering 37,090 votes.
