A draft electoral roll will be published on 1 August.
Citizens and political parties can raise claims and objections between 1 August and 1 September, and the Electoral Registration Officers will have until 25 September to resolve these before the final roll is released on 30 September.
Printed and digital copies of the Final ER will again be given free of cost to all recognised political parties and will be published on the ECI website.
Any elector aggrieved by any decision of the ERO may appeal to the District Magistrate and the Chief Electoral Officer thereafter under Section 24 of the RP Act, 1950, the EC said.
