BJP Headed For Huge Victory In Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Predicts Exit Poll

Uttar Pradesh

In the crucial state of Uttar Pradesh, which sends 80 members to the Lok Sabha, the BJP is projected to win 64-67 seats, according to the India Today-Axis MyIndia poll.

The SP-Congress combine is likely to win 8-12 seats in the India's most populous state, while BSP may score victory on 0-1 seat, with others emerging victorious on 3-6 seats.

West Bengal, Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh

BJP is set to be in the leading position in West Bengal, with projected victories on 26-31 seats, while ruling TMC may win 11-14 seats, and Congress-Left combine may secure victories in 0-2 seats.

In Maharashtra, the BJP-led NDA alliance is predicted to grab 28-32 seats, while the INDI Alliance may win 16-20 seats, with 0-2 seats going to others.

In Telangana, the BJP is projected to make major gains with 11-12 seats, with Congress likely winning in 4-6 seats, BRS in 0-1 seat and others in 0-1 seat.

In Odisha, NDA is expected to win 18-20 seats while the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD may emerge victorious in 0-2 seat, with 0-1 seat going to Congress.

The NDA is also projected to win 21-23 seats in Andhra Pradesh, with the YSRCP winning 2-4 seats.

Chandigarh, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu

In Chandigarh, Congress is likely to win the lone seat in the UT.

Similarly in Lakshadweep, Congress may secure victory in the one seat in the UT.

In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, BJP is winning the lone seat. The BJP is also projected to emerge victorious in the two seats in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu.

Northeast India

In Assam, BJP is projected to win 9-11 seats, while Congress may secure 2-4 seats.

Congress is projected to win the lone seat in Mizoram, while the INDI Alliance, of which Congress is a part, is set to win one seat in Nagaland.

In Meghalaya, NPP and VPP are projected to win one seat each.

Meanwhile, both Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) and Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) may win one seat each in the state.

In Tripura, the ruling BJP is expected to win the two seats in the state.

In Manipur, the Congress is likely to win one seat while others are expected to win another seat.

In the two Lok Sabha seats of Arunachal Pradesh, the BJP is expected to emerge victorious, exit poll results showed. 


The Congress is projected to win 7-9 seats in Punjab, BJP on 2-4 seats and the ruling AAP on 0-2 seat and others are predicted to secure victory in 2-4 seats.

Meanwhile, BJP is projected to secure victories in all five seats in Uttarakhand, and all four seats in Himachal.

Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana

The BJP is set to sweep Gujarat with the party expected to win 25-26 seats, while the Congress is projected to win 0-1 seat, according to India Today-Axis MyIndia poll.

In Delhi too, BJP is projected to secure victory in 6-7 seats, while the AAP-Congress combine is only expected to win 0-1 seat.

In the ten seats in Haryana, BJP is likely to grab 6-8 seats, while the Congress alliance is set to win 2-4 seats.

Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Goa

The India Today-Axis My India poll is predicting that BJP is set to sweep Madhya Pradesh, winning 28-29 seats in the state, with the Congress expected to win 0-1 seats.

In Rajasthan, BJP is projected to secure victory on 16-19 seats, out of the state's 25 seats. The Congress is likely to win 5-7 seats.

In Goa, both BJP and Congress are projected to win 1 seat each.

Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh

The Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA is projected to win majority of seats in Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, according to India Today-Axis MyIndia poll.

In Bihar, BJP-led NDA is projected to win 29-33 seats, while Congress-RJD alliance may win 7-10 seats.

In Jharkhand, BJP is likely to win 8-10 seats, while Congress-JMM combine may win 4-6 seats.

In Chhattisgarh, BJP is expected to secure victory on 10-11 seats, while Congress may get 0-1 seats.

Tamil Nadu, Kerala And Karnataka

BJP is set to make major gains in Southern Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and holding its lead in Kerala.

According to India Today-Axis MyIndia poll, BJP is projected to win 2-4 seats in Tamil Nadu and 2-3 seats in Kerala.

Meanwhile, BJP-led NDA is likely to win 23-25 seats in Karnataka while the Congress, which is the ruling party in Karnataka, may score victory on just 2-3 seats.

The Congress-led UDF is expected to win 17-18 seats in Kerala, while the Left front is likely to win one seat.
