UP CM Yogi Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath On Thursday (9 November) chaired the state Cabinet meet in the Ayodhya.
Sharing the details about the decisions taken in the first state cabinet meeting in the holy city, CM Yogi said that the cabinet has cleared 14 projects related to the development of Ayodhya.
The decision was taken after a meeting of the UP cabinet took place at the Ramkatha Mandap (auditorium) located on the banks of the Saryu river.
Today a new chapter has been added in the history of Uttar Pradesh. The entire cabinet of the UP government has come to Ayodhya Dham,” the UP CM said.
He said that the first proposal in the meeting was to establish an Inland Waterways Authority in Uttar Pradesh to boost water transport and promote water tourism.
"We have decided to create this authority at the state level," he said during a media briefing.
CM Yogi also said that the state Cabinet has also given nod to set up Ayodhya Tirth Vikas Parishad and Ma Pateshesri Dham Tirth Vikas Parishad.
Regulations for flying drones in the state were also approved, he said.

Formation of the 'Shuktirth Vikas Parishad' in Muzaffarnagar
Approval for drone policy
Approval for the proposal to expand and establish the Ayodhya Research Institute as the International Ramayana Vedic Research Institute
Decision to provincialise the Dauji Lakhkhi Mela in Hathras.
Approval of the proposal to provincialise all the fairs in Ayodhya
Approval of the proposal to provincialize the Ganga Mela in Bulandshahr and the Dev Deepawali event in Varanasi
