The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced that registrations for its upcoming premium housing project, ‘DDA Towering Heights’, will open from 31 October to 21 November, offering prospective buyers a chance to own a home in what will be Delhi’s tallest residential building, according to a Indian Express report.
Rising 48 storeys and 155 metres high, the under-construction tower forms a part of the East Delhi Hub at Karkardooma, which is being developed under the city’s first Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) initiative.
The project has already received approval from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), the DDA confirmed.
Spread across 30 hectares, the East Delhi Hub aims to be a mixed-use urban centre, blending residential, commercial and civic spaces within a pedestrian-friendly layout.
Under Phase I, the DDA will offer 1,026 two bedroom premium flats through an online registration and e-auction process.
The base price of these units ranges from Rs 1.78 crore to Rs 3.09 crore, with apartment sizes between 142 and 250 sq. metres.
Brochures will be available on the DDA website from 25 October. Applicants can register and submit their earnest money deposits between 31 October and 21 November, with the final submission date set for 24 November.
The e-auctions will take place from 1 to 4 December.
Successful bidders must pay 75 per cent of the cost at the time of auction, while the balance is due by July 2026, when possession is expected.
The project’s foundation stone, laid by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in December 2019, faced delays due to pending forest and utility clearances.
