The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has unveiled a unified travel platform through its upgraded app, DMRC Sarthi-Momentum 2.0.
The app now enables commuters to book metro tickets alongside bike taxis and auto-rickshaws for first and last-mile connectivity all within a single transaction.
Developed in partnership with Autope Payment Solutions Ltd., the initiative removes the hassle of juggling multiple apps or bookings.
Explaining the service flow, DMRC took to X to state that users need only input their destination.
The app then suggests the nearest metro station and appropriate first- or last-mile transport options.
If a station lies within walking distance, vehicle options are not shown; a walking navigation feature is expected soon.
DMRC has collaborated with Rapido for general services and SheRyds—a women-led startup catering exclusively to female commuters for bike taxi services.
“With the launch of this integrated service, we are addressing one of the most pressing challenges in urban commuting—first and last-mile connectivity. Sarthi-Momentum 2.0 makes metro travel more accessible, efficient, and convenient for all,” said Vikas Kumar, Managing Director, DMRC.
The app aims to offer a quicker, reliable, and cost-effective travel experience in Delhi.
