Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress-JMM coalition of attempting to divide OBCs by creating rifts among sub-castes while addressing an election rally in Jharkhand on Sunday (11 November).

"Ek rahoge toh safe rahoge (Stay united to stay safe)," he said in Bokaro claiming that a lack of unity among OBCs, tribals, and Dalits had allowed Congress to repeatedly form governments at the Centre.

"Be cautious of the divisive tactics of Congress-JMM. Since Independence, Congress has opposed the unity of SCs, STs, and OBCs, exploiting the lack of unity to retain power and mismanage the nation," he stated.

The PM also criticised Congress and its allies for advocating the return of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and accused them of putting Indian Army soldiers back in the path of terrorism.

He alleged that "bundles of notes" are being found with JMM- Congress leaders. He further argued that a BJP-led government was essential in Jharkhand to eliminate corruption and prevent illegal infiltration.

He targeted the ruling JMM coalition, alleging their involvement in smuggling and warning that the “recruitment mafia and paper leak mafia” created by the coalition would face legal consequences.
