The Millennium City Centre station in Gurugram is set to remain the only connection point to the Delhi Metro's Yellow Line for the upcoming new metro corridor in the city, Times of India reported.

A proposal to reroute the new metro corridor to connect with the Delhi Metro station at the Sikanderpur was considered but was shelved after the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC) found it unfeasible, ToI reported.

The proposed change would have shifted the metro's terminal station from Cyber City to Sikanderpur, allowing passengers direct access to Delhi Metro services.

However, HMRTC, in its board meeting, concluded that the available Right of Way (ROW) along the proposed routes is insufficient, and running two parallel metro corridors would be operationally challenging and economically unviable.

An RRTS station is also proposed at Cyber City, planned to integrate with the new metro line, further enhancing regional connectivity.

The Millennium City Centre station, formerly known as HUDA City Centre, is a Delhi Metro station on the Yellow Line located in Gurgaon. It serves as the terminal station for the Yellow Line, connecting the city with Delhi.

Sikanderpur station, another key transit point on the Yellow Line, is integrated with the Rapid Metro, facilitating easy transfers between the two systems.
