Indian-Origin Presidential candidate Nikki Haley has emerged victorious in the Dixville Notch midnight primary in New Hampshire, securing all six votes outpacing former President Donald Trump and other candidates.

The small town's six registered voters, comprising two independents and four registered Republicans, unanimously chose Haley in the first round of the New Hampshire primary.

Expressing her gratitude, Haley stated, “A great start to a great day in New Hampshire. Thank you, Dixville Notch!”

In the 2020 New Hampshire primary, Michael Bloomberg had won with three write-in votes, while Pete Buttigieg and Bernie Sanders each received one vote.

This development comes amid the heated republic nomination race where Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has previously withdrawn from the presidential race along with another Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy, with both of them throwing the support behind former President Donald Trump just days ahead of the New Hampshire primary.

This leaves the former UN Ambassador as Trump's primary challenger for the Republican nomination.
