IAF's Hawk Trainer Aircraft Meets With Accident In West Bengal, Both Pilots Eject Safely

Indian Air Force's (IAF) Hawk trainer aircraft met with an accident today (13 February) at Kalaikunda in West Bengal during a training sortie. However, the good news is that both the pilots ejected safely.

Hawk is an advanced jet trainer aircraft made by Rolls Royce and British Aerospace Systems (BAE). It allows an instructor pilot to fly alongside a trainee so that they learn to transition to high-performance fighter aircraft.
