The Indian government has provided the Canadian government with updated information on the whereabouts of Arshdeep Singh Gill, also known as Arsh Dalla, a designated terrorist associated with the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) based in Canada.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is investigating cases involving Dalla, obtained specific details about his current location in Canada, including his car, address, and photographs, as per a report by The Indian Express.

The NIA, through the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs, requested the Canadian government to make a provisional arrest of Dalla.

However, as of now, no action has been taken by the Canadian government in this regard.

The Union Home Ministry had declared Dalla a designated terrorist in January 2021 due to his involvement in various crimes, including murder, extortion, targeted killings, terror activities, terror financing, and smuggling weapons and drugs across the border from Pakistan.

Since Nijjar's death, Dalla has reportedly taken over the operations of KTF and is allegedly involved in planning further killings in India.

Despite being based in Canada, Dalla is believed to have orchestrated operations in India.

In September 2023, Congress leader Baljinder Singh Balli was shot dead at his home in Punjab's Moga district by two of Dalla's associates. Following Balli's murder, Dalla posted a message on Facebook claiming responsibility.
