Indian security agencies have shared detailed case information with their American counterparts regarding gangster Anmol Bishnoi, who was recently detained in the United States on immigration-visa fraud charges.

Officials suggest that his extradition to India may not happen immediately.

Anmol, also known as Bhanu, is the younger brother of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

He is accused in several high-profile crimes, including the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai, and faces numerous cases across Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi.

Anmol’s criminal activities date back to 2012 when he was charged with attempted murder under the Arms Act in Fazilka, Punjab.

His brother Lawrence first encountered legal troubles in 2010 during a clash with a rival student group at Panjab University.

Anmol has been named as the 13th accused in multiple charge sheets filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Investigations revealed that Anmol relocated abroad to oversee and expand his brother’s criminal empire.

Both Rinda and Landa are linked to the banned Babbar Khalsa International, a pro-Khalistani terrorist group.

In 2022, Anmol, along with Goldy Brar, was allegedly involved in the murder of Pradeep Kumar, a follower of the Dera Sacha Sauda sect in Punjab’s Faridkot district.

Brar publicly claimed responsibility for the killing on social media.

Officials believe this incident highlights the nexus between gangster syndicates and overseas pro-Khalistani terror groups.

Anmol’s gang has also been implicated in other high-profile murders, including the killing of popular singer Sidhu Moosewala and political figures like Raju Theth.

Beyond murders, the gang is deeply involved in organised crime, including extortion, drug trafficking, and international criminal operations spanning India, Canada, the USA, Germany, and Dubai.
