Exercise Desert Hunt 2025
In a bid to enhance interoperability, the elite Para (Special Forces) of the Indian Army, Marine Commandos (MARCOS) of the Indian Navy, and Garud Special Forces of the Indian Air Force participated together in a simulated combat environment during Exercise Desert Hunt 2025.
Hosted by the Indian Air Force at Air Force Station Jodhpur, Rajasthan from 24 to 28 February, the exercise aimed to enhance interoperability and synergy among the three elite tri-service Special Forces units.
"This high-intensity drill was aimed at enhancing interoperability, coordination and synergy among the three Special Forces units to ensure swift and effective response towards emerging security challenges," the Defence Ministry said in a statement.
According to the Defence Ministry, senior military officials supervised the exercise to validate joint doctrines.
The drill also provided a platform to foster the commitment of the Indian Armed Forces to strengthen national security through seamless inter-service cooperation.
