RudraM-II test

RudraM-II air-to-surface missile was successfully flight-tested from the Su-30 MK-I platform of the Indian Air Force (IAF) by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Wednesday (29 May).

RudraM-II is an indigenously developed solid-propelled air-launched missile system that can neutralise many types of enemy assets. It incorporates many state-of-the-art indigenous technologies developed by DRDO.

The flight data captured by range tracking instruments like electro-optical systems, radar and telemetry stations deployed by Integrated Test Range, Chandipur at various locations, including the onboard ship, validated the performance.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the successful test consolidated the role of the RudraM-II system as a force multiplier to the Armed Forces and congratulated DRDO, IAF And industry on the achievement.
